斯坦福大學(xué)天賦少年教育計(jì)劃暑期高中專業(yè)課程專為高中學(xué)生所設(shè)計(jì)。課程由名校斯坦福大學(xué)教授親自教導(dǎo)，學(xué)生除了可以和來自世界各國(guó)的優(yōu)秀高中生齊聚一堂共同學(xué)習(xí)外，還可參與各種校內(nèi)活動(dòng)，走訪北加州文化景點(diǎn)。體會(huì)美國(guó)大學(xué)的上課實(shí)況、深度了解美國(guó)大學(xué)的生活與文化外，更可為自己規(guī)劃未來就學(xué)方向及早做準(zhǔn)備。

I.ArtificialIntelligence-ArtificialIntelligenceinmanyformshasbeenagoalofmankindeversincethedawnofputing.Thiscoursewillexploresomeofthemodernputationaltechniquesusedinengineeringmachinescapableofrationaldecisionmaking,perception,andlearning.Topicswillincludeknowledgerepresentation,logic,searchalgorithms,constraint-satisfactionproblems,andmachinelearning.Studentswillhavehandsonprogrammingassignmentstoimplementmanyofthealgorithmsintroducedinthecourse.

Prerequisite(s)

Thiscourseassumesapreviouscourseorextensiveexperienceinputerprogramming,aswellasmathematicsthroughpre-calculus.

Age15-17

II.JavaandRobotics-Thiscourseisageneralintroductiontoputerscienceandprogrammingwitharoboticsponent.ThecoursecoverstheessentialsyntaxofJava,aswellassomemonlyusedJavapackages,anditemphasizestheadvantagesofobject-orientedprogramming.Studentswritebothstand-aloneprogramsandapplets,andtheygettoworkwiththeLEGOWindstormsRoboticsInventionSystem.

Completionofanalgebracourse.Nopriorexperienceinprogrammingisassumed.

Age13–15

課外活動(dòng)

周間進(jìn)行各種課外活動(dòng)，包括團(tuán)體球類運(yùn)動(dòng)、室內(nèi)與室外游戲、棋類競(jìng)賽、才藝表演、音樂、社交舞、美術(shù)、健行以及購(gòu)物等。周末參訪舊金山灣區(qū)著名文化景點(diǎn)，例如Capitola濱海城市、Exploratorium科學(xué)博物館、舊金山現(xiàn)代美術(shù)館、以及金門大橋等。
