我在教學過程中，經(jīng)常叫學生多寫單句，我說單句寫好了，復(fù)雜句也會寫。這個做法可能和大部分的老師是相反的。我的教學方法基于一個簡單的道理：雅思考官不好蒙騙。你一個復(fù)雜句如果寫的不對，考官馬上可以看出來，分數(shù)馬上就會降低。因此，踏實寫好簡單句，分數(shù)更加容易提高。

　　基礎(chǔ)不好的同學(包括不熟悉詞性、句子成分的同學)可以做一下2.9的句子翻譯。這是我為學生設(shè)計的一個翻譯練習。過去幾年中幫助無數(shù)學生短時間提高了語法，在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上很多學生不斷傳播。

　　當你熟悉單句后，下一步可以將句子連接起來。

　　方法1：如果兩個簡單句沒有因果關(guān)系，基本上是兩個獨立的事情，往往可以簡單地用and相連。

　　舉例：Childrenarenotsensitivetopricesandparentsprefertosatisfytheirneeds.

　　方法2：如果兩個簡單句有一定的因果關(guān)系，往往可以用狀語從句相連。

　　一般來說，if和when引導(dǎo)條件狀語從句(也有一定因果關(guān)系，只是不那么強)

　　舉例：Ifadvertisingcampaignsdirectedat

childrenareregulated,childrenwillnotpestertheirparentstobuy

manygoodsforthem.

　　Since,as,because,so等引導(dǎo)原因或者結(jié)果狀語從句，表示比較強的因果關(guān)系

　　舉例：somechildrenlikefastfoodsincetheyareoverwhelmedbyfastfoodadvertisementseveryday.

　　方法3：如果狀語從句怕重復(fù)，可以用and(或者;)+連接詞的方式

　　有很多連接詞becauseofthis,asaresultofthis,consequently,asaconsequence等，都是表示因果關(guān)系。

　　舉例：somechildrenareaddictedto

violentvideogames,andbecauseofthis,theycanshowaggressionand

bullytheirpeersatschool.

　　方法4：如果第一個單句的最后一個單詞和第二個單句的第一個單詞重復(fù)，可以用定語從句連接。

　　舉例：Childrenareincreasingly

temperamentalduetotheiraddictiontoviolentelectronicgames.These

gamesarenormallypromotedbyadvertisingfirms.

　　可以改成：Childrenareincreasingly

temperamentalduetotheiraddictiontoviolentelectronicgames,which

arenormallypromotedbyadvertisingfirms.

　　方法5：如果第二個單句是第一個單句的結(jié)果，有可能使用非限制性定語從句

　　舉例：Advertisementshavegivenalotofinformationaboutproducts.Thisenablesparentstomakewell-informedbuyingdecisions.

　　可以改成：Advertisementshavegivenalotof

informationaboutproducts,whichcanhelpparentstomake

well-informedbuyingdecisions.

　　簡而言之，不要嫌棄簡單句，簡單句寫熟了，復(fù)雜句很容易寫
